Children in Need 2022. Thank you for taking part and helping us raise money for this much-loved charity. We will let you know how much we managed to raise!

We were immensely proud to have taken part in the Run Kids Run charity event this year. The whole school community took part in the sponsored run fundraiser, to help us raise much- needed money to continue having Place2Be at our school. This has provided essential mental health support for our pupils, families and staff for over 7 years, and is able to continue thanks to all your efforts - we were able to reach our target of £2000. We will also receive an additional £5000 from the sponsors of the event, who include Google, Kings Cross, Waitrose, and The Standard among many.

Story Time

Thank you to all the parents and children who came to enjoy a story at the end of the day on Friday 21st September with Alix, our school librarian. We hope to be able to have a story time once a month for parents and children to enjoy, and to give parents tips to make story time compelling and fun with their child.

Well done to our ADC football team who made us all proud of their performance at the annual ADC Tournament at Whittington Park. Unfortunately we didn't quite make it to the final, but their determination and good sportsmanship was second to none.

Sports Day - 6th July

BIG thank you to all our pupils, staff, parents and friends who made our sports day at Market Road a great success. The children performed brilliantly, despite the heat, as did our parents and staff in the adult races.

A special thank you to our PTA for helping with refreshments and to Miss Ahmet, our PE Leader, for organising the day.

Below are a few photos, so you can relive the fun!

1965 Day

To mark our very special 50th anniversary on the 11th June the children, staff and parents travelled back to the 1960s for one day.

The children looked fabulous in their 1960s outfits and enjoyed a 1965 Street Party organised by our PTA.

The Feast of Corpus Christi

On Sunday 7th June we celebrate Corpus Christi (or Blessed Sacrament), which is our school's special feast day.

As a special treat, the children were given ice-creams as one of the many things we are doing to celebrate this special day!

Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment & WaterAid

On Monday 27th April members of our String Club went to Kings Place to perform with the OAE. Everyone brought water bottles with some coins inside. These were used as percussion instruments and were then donated to WaterAid to add to the £3000 already raised by the OAE.
