One Plastic Bag
Pupils in every class in the school enjoyed reading the beautiful book 'One Plastic Bag' which, set in a rural village in the Gambia, illustrates the importance of ecological awareness and the urgent need for recycling. Pupils demonstrated fantastic writing in various genres in response to the story, and the art work produced was outstanding. The whole school approach enabled the pupils to work collaboratively and to collectively think about our future approaches to environmental issues and a greener approach for our school through our school Eco-leaders.
